⚠️ Civil Disturbance


Federal Capital Territory : The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) issued a notification of a planned massive shutdown of all major cities in Nigeria, effective September 15, 2024.

🗡 Homicide


Anambra : Security operatives in Anambra State arrested a mother and her two children for beating their 75-year-old father, identified as Romanus Obidigwe Awba-Ofemmili community in Awka North Local Government Area of Anambra State.


Advisory : Residents are advised to exercise caution and report any suspicious activities to law enforcement. Increased security measures and vigilance are recommended in the area.


🏃‍♀️ Human Trafficking


Anambra : The Anambra State Police Command says its operatives arrested a member of a gang that specialises in child trafficking between the age of 13 and 16 years to neighbouring countries like Ghana and Benin Republic.


Advisory : Conduct a comprehensive investigation to identify the entire network involved in the child trafficking operation, including other members, recruiters, and facilitators. Ensure that the arrested suspect is prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, serving as a deterrent to others involved in similar crimes.
